Our world presents us with certain inevitabilities around a climate becoming beyond our control. These inevitabilities spawn anxiety, personal and collective, though within this there are also possibilities. Possible resolutions, ways of being and thinking which might help us along a long road to managing our current state. It is necessary to maintain the distinction between inevitabilities and possibilities while acknowledging that they cannot be separate. In the face of common anxieties surrounding our climate emergency, Henge (Inevitable Possibilities) re-locates our necessary connection to earth and being present. Through a reading of one’s body in relation to the work a gut-reaction awareness is established which opens up these new possibilities, ideas, perspectives and bodily experiences.
