Once Upon a time, a sparkly eyed Caity Girle was eager to find magic where others did not. So she made colourful and vibrant artwork expressing this magic in the ‘mundane’. I am very curious by nature, and am constantly exploring new realms of conceptual theory, material and skill. I collect and craft magic from acutely observed found objects. Mistakes are my greatest tool as they guide the outcome of my artwork, no matter the medium. Vibrant colour is my only constant. Grandiose structures and ‘home’ are at the peak of my interest at this point of time. Ultimately, I draw from social interaction and expand into the ethical value of recycling, fixing and re-imagining broken objects. I attempt to provide interactive environments for self-awareness in an engaging and fun artistic way, to enable an act of 'exchange' between the participants.
