Ardmillan

Ardmillan is the product of revisiting a site from my childhood and retracing the past from the vantage point of the present. The project explores the themes of nostalgia, memory, mystery and lineage around my late grandparent’s farm. My aims for this project were to begin reflecting upon and interpreting my lived experiences, knowing that our childhood memories are fallible and often distorted perceptions of truth. The work is ultimately a process of decoding, resurrecting and reconnecting to familiar spaces now within my adult life.
