The simplicity of structure that characterises sacred geometry speaks to the complexity of all existence from the microscopic to the macroscopic. I’m fascinated by the depth at which these patterns repeat and manifest, appearing everywhere from frequencies to matter. I therefore wish to highlight through my body of work a sense of curiosity for the divine. In a world where I believe the mystical tends to be forgotten, these geometric patterns are a reminder of the solid structures that define all of creation.

I aim to evoke a sense of unity between the shape, line and colour of both symmetrical and asymmetrical appearances. I’m drawn to the dialogue that occurs when shapes collide and bind in close proximity. The intention in this series of work is to explore cohesive formations through repetition and contrast, seeking to find a balance between chaos and order. I find that spherical shapes in particular encapsulate the wholeness and eternal constant of life. Within my compositions I aim to push the boundaries of the circle to express the infinite possibilities of harmonious aesthetic relationships.
