My paintings seek to find meaning, mood, narrative and psychological worlds that emerge out of interpreting endless changing possibilities. I investigate vital forces surrounding direct real experience and our relationship with the landscape of now. Part of the process is questioning how paintings can be a mechanism for change and enacting new perspectives. A key undercurrent in my work addresses a concern for the environment.
