I am an illustrator and animator based in Chelsea, Victoria. My work is playful, graphic and colourful, often equated to a childlike aesthetic which I have grown to love. Themes that have defined my practice surround embracing the domestic, loving mundanity and confronting those aspects of ourselves. My recent emerging practice has focused on the discourse between private and public identities. My intention for this work is for the audience to understand that their public and private selves are intrinsic, not only to their individuality but to the community itself. We all believe we live within our own universes but really those ephemeral moments, and your personal impact once you’ve left your private threshold, can influence those around you greatly. And whether you like it or not, you are a member of a greater consciousness growing through the same experiences.
