I am a female artist and illustrator living in Melbourne, Australia. I predominantly work in pencil but am quickly developing skills in acrylic painting and digital drawing. Most of my work is based around my brief experience as a lesbian trans woman, living closeted in a house with ignorant siblings. My artwork comes about from dreams and lack of social interaction since coming out. These show my longing for human connection. I am often the subject of my character-based work, being the only one featured, so the artworks have a sort of intimacy, a form of self love.

These works usually come in the form of intimate bathroom or bedroom scenes. With multiple works stacked around these places, my environment is filled out to the viewer. Influenced by fantasy, some elements of the rooms change to show these moments aren't necessarily linear or collective. Although I like having well-rendered work, I try to sneak in as much line drawing as I can to reflect all the building stages and structure of the artwork.
