My practice is based on forming a dialogue between observation and imagination. Taking aspects of both the abstract and the figurative, and fusing this with a fascination with pattern and colour, my work involves removing objects from their context and placing them in a metaphysical realm. Grappling with the current social/political/economic/environmental climate we are living in, I also find my works ‘grappling’ and needing to adapt to this state of flux.
