My artistic practice consists of detailed digital fantasy illustrations drawn using Photoshop and a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet. I am often inspired by fantasy books and translate the characters from the stories I love into visual imagery that captures themes and emotions that I resonate with. These drawings are displayed on a variety of digital screens and challenge notions of traditional linear storytelling and feminine narrative tropes. My digital drawings highlight and critique the distinction between the feminine and the intellectual, specifically within the fantasy genre. I am also interested in how the property of multi-perspectivity in digital media and narration helps defamiliarise complex ideas to gain therapeutic self-knowledge.
