My Masters project uses text-based works created within an interdisciplinary practice (sound, embroidery, digital animation and handwritten text) to explore the intricacies of human emotion. Using methodologies of humour, tactics that disrupt language and a multifaceted approach to interactivity and engagement, my work seeks to evoke empathic responses by using ideas found in mirror neuron research to mimic specific emotional states.
