This series of images explores how, through photomontage, I am able to reveal a new perspective on landscape while also creating a new kind of sublime. By layering and combining photographs I aim to construct images that capture the embodied experience within a site, where a single image would not be sufficient. Through stitching multiple frames together, I am able to compensate for the limitations of a single point perspective. The images feature surreal sublime depictions of the landscape inspired by the reality of the site, yet they appear distorted and fictitious due to the manipulation of the space.
